Kairan Quazi, a 14-year-old boy, has set a new record as the youngest person ever hired by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. Now hailed as a prodigy, Quazi announced in a LinkedIn post that he will be working as a Software Engineer on the Starlink engineering team.

Quazi’s unique capabilities caught SpaceX’s attention during their rigorous interview process. His technical skills coupled with his curiosity and enthusiasm made him an excellent candidate. Quazi eagerly accepted an offer to work on SpaceX’s Starlink team, contributing to an ambitious satellite constellation project aimed at revolutionizing global broadband coverage.
Quazi’s path to success began as a child when he enrolled at Las Positas Community College at the age of nine. He is even a STEM tutor at his university. His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue college-level courses while his peers were still in elementary school. He also gained valuable insights during a summer internship at a venture capital-backed cyber intelligence startup.
The boy from San Francisco will graduate from Santa Clara University (SCU) School of Engineering in the next few days, setting yet another record. He will become the institution’s youngest graduate.
