NBA Playoffs 2023: The National Basketball Association is one of the largest and most popular sports leagues in the world and attracts millions of viewers each year. The 2023 NBA season is slowly coming to an end and the playoffs are in full swing. Conference games have recently begun and the Eastern and Western Conference finals are scheduled for the coming weeks.

NBA Playoffs Rules 2023
The NBA follows a unique and original format to decide the winner. The playoffs last about two months and include several matches.
- NBA teams are divided into two conferences: Eastern and Western. Each conference consists of 15 teams, organized into three divisions. After the tournament phase, the top eight teams from each conference will advance to the playoffs.
- The NBA playoffs follow a league format and each team within a conference is matched against one opponent. The two teams play seven matches, the team that wins four matches will advance to the next round.
- In round 1, eight teams from a conference are faced off as follows:
Rank 1 vs Rank 8
2nd place vs 7th place
3rd place vs 6th place
4th place vs 5th place
- The second round of the playoffs includes the Conference Semifinals. In it, the winners of the four matches of round 1 will face each other. The remaining two teams compete against each other in the conference finals in round 3, and the winner will compete to become the champion in round 4 of the NBA Finals.
*Round 3: The Conference Finals is currently taking place.
