World Environment Day 2023: World Environment Day is the largest global event celebrated by millions of people on June 5. The event hosted by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) is held for the first time first on June 5, 1973 and this year marks its 50th anniversary. This year’s World Environment Day theme will focus on “Solutions to plastic pollution” under the #BeatPlasticPollution campaign, encouraging activism around the world. And Côte d’Ivoire, in partnership with the Netherlands, will host the 2023 World Environment Day campaign event.
World Environment Day is a global campaign and outreach platform. This international event is enthusiastically observed by educational and non-educational organizations. There are a number of competitions held in schools, including Dance, Singing, Essay and Speech competitions for World Environment Day.

Every year on June 5, people around the world celebrate World Environment Day. World Environment Day is celebrated by more than 100 countries worldwide. The United Nations Environment Program began in 1973 and it is still going strong today. The main goal of this holiday is to raise environmental awareness.
Excessive amounts of pollution are a threat to the environment. Pollutants were trapped in all major components of the environment, including the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere. Normal environmental conditions are being destroyed by rising pollution levels.
One of the most important resources for our life on Earth is the environment. An ecological network is a network of relationships in which all elements of the environment are interdependent. This network must be kept in balance because if one part disintegrates, the entire system will disintegrate and wipe out all life. Therefore, we must decide to take action to protect the environment and repair the damage we have caused.
The main objective of World Environment Day is to increase public awareness of current environmental conditions. People come together on this day to work together to make our lives better. Every year, a specific theme or environmental issue is highlighted and participants commit to taking action to address that issue. For example, the theme for 2019 is air pollution.
World Environment Day serves as a reminder to protect the environment and build our world. It sheds light on the factors that harm our environment the most. For example, businesses and enterprises contribute significantly to pollution. As a result, we breathe less air and drink less water.
Additionally, it motivates people to play an active role in creating environmental protection strategies. In addition, it inspires people to protect and preserve the environment so that everyone can enjoy a clean, healthy and successful future. Because a clean Earth is a green Earth.

Good morning to Dear Principal, teachers and my dear colleagues
Every year on June 5, World Environment Day is celebrated globally. The main goal of the annual event is to raise awareness about the value of our planet’s resources and the need to protect them.
A good and healthy environment is very important for human survival. It provides us with the water we drink, the food we eat and the air we breathe. Along with providing us with a place to live, it also helps control the weather.
Unfortunately, the current environment is facing many challenges. We need to find solutions to some big problems, including deforestation, pollution and climate change.
When harmful gases are released into the atmosphere, heat is trapped and the Earth’s temperature increases. Our environment has seen immense changes due to it and there seems to be no complete stop in sight.
When dangerous compounds are released into the atmosphere, which often happens from companies, cars, and power plants, pollution results. Our air and water are polluted by pollution, which can also degrade our health and ecosystems.
Deforestation is another major factor. And forests are very important because they are shelters for many creatures, help regulate the climate and provide us with oxygen, forests are very important. Therefore, deforestation contributes to climate change and species extinction.
We can reduce our carbon emissions by using less energy, driving less and consuming less meat to protect our ecosystem. Reduce waste through recycling and composting. Reduce the number of showers and patch leaks to save water.
Support environmentally conscious companies that are environmentally sustainable. These small actions have the potential to dramatically improve the future of our planet.

Our health is negatively affected by chemicals and toxins that are polluting the environment at an ever-increasing rate. Just to name a few, they can lead to cancer and respiratory diseases. World Environment Day encourages us to take action and improve the environment we cannot live without by paying attention to the air that nourishes us.
