Most Visited Countries in India: Travel to India is an enchanting kaleidoscope of diverse cultures, landscapes and traditions. Boasts ancient monuments and rich heritage. In addition, in recent years, state governments are taking significant steps to develop and promote tourist visits. Speaking at a gathering in Mathura, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said, “Today UP is attracting the maximum number of tourists. Before that Goa was in first place and Uttar Pradesh in third place. But last year 800,000 tourists went to Goa and seven crore devotees went to Kashi (Varanasi) and six crore devotees visited the Braj area.”
