What is PFA?

PFA Awards 2023
The 2023 PFA Awards celebrated outstanding achievements in football. Manchester City’s Erling Haaland has won the prestigious PFA Player of the Year award. Haaland’s remarkable debut season with Manchester City, where he scored 52 goals and helped the team win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, earned him this recognition.
Bukayo Saka, who had a stellar season with Arsenal, was honored as Young Player of the Year. Saka’s contributions included 14 goals for Arsenal and impressive performances for England during the World Cup.
In the women’s category, Aston Villa’s Rachel Daly and Chelsea’s Lauren James were recognized as PFA Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year respectively. Both players played pivotal roles in England’s run to the World Cup final.
