The highly anticipated 2023 NBA Draft is just a few days away and the excitement is growing. With the No. 1 pick, many people predict the San Antonio Spurs will name Victor Wembanyama. However, beyond this exceptional talent, the rest of the draft remains uncertain. The battle for the No. 2 pick is tight, with Scoot Henderson from G League Ignite and Brandon Miller from Alabama vying for that spot.
Meanwhile, college standouts like Cam Whitmore from Villanova and Jarace Walker from Houston are aiming to surpass Amen and Ausar Thompson, the twins from Overtime Elite, for the Nos. 4 and 5 picks. With the lottery and draft remaining, it’s anyone’s guess as to who will be selected.

Victor Wembanyama, the highly rated 19-year-old player praised by LeBron James as a one-time talent, has had an impressive season in Paris with Metropolitans 92. Since the San Antonio Spurs won the top spot in the lottery, draft on May 16, Wembanyama was considered a solid choice for the team.
He led his team to the finals, earning the tournament’s MVP award while also showing remarkable tenacity by not missing a single game throughout the season. As he looks ahead to his NBA journey, Wembanyama has a remarkable opportunity to become one of the league’s standout faces when he plays for the Spurs starting in October.

The debate over the No. 2 pick is still ongoing, with Brandon Miller currently holding the advantage, but Scoot Henderson from the G League Ignite impressed during practice with the Charlotte Hornets and remains in contention. The Thompson twins also have a chance to be selected consecutively at No. 4 and No. 5, entering the top 5.
Scott Henderson
Henderson is an excellent athlete with extraordinary explosiveness. He is already at an elite NBA level and will seamlessly transition to the professional league from day one. Despite a season rife with injuries, including a broken nose, concussion and ankle injury, there is no doubt that Henderson possesses exceptional talent. In any other year, he would be a legitimate contender for the coveted No. 1 overall pick.
Brandon Miller
Miller, with his imposing physical attributes (6’9″, 200 pounds, 6’11” wingspan), is a prime example of a modern wing scorer. He excels in many different aspects of offense, whether it’s coming up on screens, serving as a screener or creating his own shots. Miller’s ability to make shots all over the field, combined with his size and length, has been compared to Brandon Ingram’s natural scoring ability.
