Bihar Cabinet Ministers List 2023: Complete List of Bihar Chief Ministers with Portfolio
Current Bihar Education Minister – Dr. Chandra Shekhar
Dr. Chandrashekhar is the representative of Madhepura in the Bihar Legislative Assembly and the education minister of the Bihar government. A professor and since 2010 a member of the Bihar Legislative Council, he was born in Madhepura, Bihar.
According to his vision, ‘Along with its ability to generate income, a nation’s strength also lies in its ability to maintain ethical standards and educational levels of its citizens. Therefore, the Department of Education in Bihar has worked hard to restore its erstwhile educational leadership with the ultimate goal of preserving the identity of Bihar, which is to continue spreading the light of education as did during the Buddha’s time.’
Under his administration, five directorates and several apex bodies have been working to create a supportive environment where youth, women and others can explore knowledge and their skills by pursuing primary, secondary, tertiary and mass education.
