After two exciting months, the Indian Premier League ended with a thrilling final between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. The two teams topped the scoreboard and seemed destined to play in the final with their strong squads and leadership.
Hardik Pandya captained the Gujarat Titans, after successfully leading the team to their maiden IPL title in 2022. Living legend MS Dhoni once again held the captaincy of Chennai Super Kings and secured the final spot with a record. record 10th time. He has played a total of 11 finals in the Indian Premier League.
The much-anticipated match faced a major setback on the designated date, May 28, 2023, when rain forced the postponement of the reserved date: May 29. However, the next day It didn’t get any better as it rained all evening. Thankfully, the skies cleared at night and the match started without any delay.
