What is Mid-Cruise AI?
Midjourney is a text-to-image artificial intelligence engine created by independent research lab Midjourney, Inc. headquartered in San Francisco. Its main function is to create images from the text the user enters, called prompts.
Midjourney follows the same operating model as other AI imagers like DALL-E and OpenAI’s Stable Diffusion but is more accessible and error-free. Many of the funny AI images you see today of politicians as bodybuilders and historical figures as rappers were made using Midjourney.
Midjourney launched on July 12, 2022 with an open beta model. It used to have a free trial but now operates on a subscription basis, offering three pricing tiers.
