An Instagram artist (Surya Teja Kandukuri/@thebackpackerboy) used Artificial Intelligence to create pictures of Indian cricketers as children. The post was uploaded on January 28 and has garnered nearly 2000 likes so far. The work was created using Midjourney and Adobe Lightroom. You can see pictures of Indian cricket players as children below. Many new and veteran players are included.

Virat Kohli is already the most followed Indian athlete and the idol of the entire country. His AI-generated image as a child will definitely increase his fan following. It’s uncanny how realistic Kohli looks, especially his big dreamy eyes.

What is a mid-cruise AI tool?
Midjourney is a general artificial intelligence service created by independent research laboratory Midjourney, Inc. headquartered in San Francisco. Its main function is to generate images from user prompts from natural language descriptions to generate images. Midjourney works similarly to other AI imagers like DALL-E and OpenAI’s Stable Diffusion.
Midjourney launched on July 12, 2022 with an open beta model. It currently operates on a subscription basis with three tiers.
