The most awaited film festival of the year has arrived. The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival 2032 is currently underway, taking place from May 16 to 27, 2023. The festival is held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France.
The festival opened with the premiere of a French historical play Jeanne du Barry, directed by Maïwenn. The film stars Johnny Depp as King Louis XV of France and Louis Garrel as advisor Guillaume du Barry. This is Depp’s first major film after his lengthy defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Cannes 2023: Jury
The jury was headed by Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund. Östlund is known for the films The Square and Force Majeure and has won the Palme d’Or twice, once in 2017 and once in 2022. The other jury members are:
