The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the much-anticipated domestic cricket schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season for Team India. The governing body for cricket in India shared that a total of 1846 matches will be played throughout the season, starting from the last week of June 2023 and continuing until March 2024.

The Duleep Trophy will mark the official start of the domestic season. The competition will take place from June 28 to July 16, 2023. Next is the Deodhar Trophy, which will take place from July 24, 2023 to August 3, 2023.
Six regions—the Central, South, North, East, West and Northeast regions—will each host one of these tournaments.
And starting from October 1, 2023, the Irani Cup will begin with a fierce competition between Rest of India and Saurashtra. This tournament will be followed by the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, played from October 16, 2023 to November 6, 2023.
Then, the Vijay Hazare Trophy will take place from November 23, 2023 to December 15, 2023. There will be 38 teams participating in the two above-mentioned tournaments, divided into two groups of seven teams and three groups of eight teams.
In 2024, the famous Ranji Trophy tournament consisting of 38 teams divided into 5 groups will kick off on January 5 and last until March 14, 2024.
The senior women’s T20 tournament will take place from October 19, 2023 to November 09, 2023, which will mark the beginning of the domestic women’s cricket season.
Next up is the Senior Women’s Inter-Zone Championship, which runs from November 24, 2023 to December 4, 2023. The Senior Women’s One-Day Cup will begin on January 4 and conclude ends January 26, 2024.
