Ashutosh Dixit is a retired Indian Air Force officer who served as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Southern Air Command of the Indian Air Force. He was appointed as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force in 1982 and flew various fighter aircraft, including the MiG-21 and MiG-29.

Squadron Commander Ashutosh Dixit (18558) Flying Pilot was appointed as a fighter pilot in the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force on 6 December 1986. Subsequently, on 15 December, he took over command command of a combat squadron along with the process of rejuvenating and re-establishing this squadron. – Equipped with Mirage-2000 aircraft.
During his career, Air Marshal Dixit has held a number of important personnel and operational positions, including that of Senior Air Staff Officer (SASO) of the Regional Air Command Tay and Director General (Operations) at Air Force Headquarters.
