Delhi Police has been granted permission by a local court to conduct a drug analysis test on Aftab Poonawalla, the alleged murderer of Shradha Walker.
Police had approached Saket Court to seek permission to conduct a drug test on the convicted murderer, who, they said, had not cooperated with the investigation.

Shradha Walker, a call center worker, was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner, Aftab Aamin Poonawalla, in May.
According to police, after the two had a disagreement, Aftab strangled Shradha and killed her in the process. He then tried to hide the body by chopping it into 35 pieces. At first, he kept the loose parts in the refrigerator for a month and then dispersed them throughout the National Capital Region.
Aaftab was questioned by the police about the murder, however he did not cooperate. And now he will have to undergo a drug test.
