YouTube is testing a new feature that allows viewers to create short videos from other people’s video comments.

YouTube states: “The short will appear on the Short Video page and on the viewer’s channel page. Viewer-generated short videos will not send notifications to the creator of the video containing the comment, nor to the author of the comment.”
Furthermore, the creator does not have the right to ban comments from appearing in a short video. However, they can disable comments on their videos for a safe experience.
