The latest move of CEO Meta to entice rival Twitter made the audience bewildered. Instagram and Twitter themes are currently being compared constantly with each other. Both platforms allow users to share messages, photos and short videos with their followers but there are significant differences.
Twitter’s new rival is designed for a more intimate audience than Twitter. Thread posts are visible only to your followers on Thread, while Twitter posts are visible to anyone who follows you or sees them in their feed. What is an Instagram theme?
Instagram Threads is a text-based chat application that was launched by the CEO of Meta on July 6, 2023. The hype surrounding the launch of Threads is significantly higher because it is called “for” Twitter player”.

Meta announced: “Themes provide a new, separate space for real-time updates and public conversations. We are working to make the Theme compatible with the open, interoperable social networks that we believe can shape the future of the Internet.”
The theme is designed to be a more personal alternative to connecting with your friends and family. It is connected to your Instagram account, so you can share your posts and stories with your Thread followers.
Another notable thing about Themes is that it is not a standalone application. This means that users cannot delete a Topic account without deleting their Instagram account.
Once users have downloaded the Theme, they can start sharing text updates. Posts can be up to 500 characters long and can include links, photos, and videos up to 5 minutes in length.

The platform recently rolled out new updates allowing users to share Threads on Instagram Direct Messages (DM), new mention buttons, and the ability to edit a photo’s alt text description. and video before posting.
