Sierra 3
“Saw 3” is a 2006 horror film. It was directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and written by Leigh Whannell. The story was created by Whannell and James Wan. This film is the third part of the Saw series and follows the second film, “Saw II.” It stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Angus Macfadyen, Bahar Soomekh and Dina Meyer.

Saw plot 3
After the events of Saw II, Detective Eric Matthews is trapped in a run-down bathroom, chained to a pipe by Amanda Young. He manages to free himself by breaking his foot on the toilet tank lid.
Six months later, Lieutenant Daniel Rigg, along with Detectives Allison Kerry and Mark Hoffman, discover a new victim of the Jigsaw killer at an elementary school. This victim, Troy, is forced to remove the chains across her body to escape a nail bomb, but she cannot escape because the exit door is welded together. This leads Kerry to believe that someone other than John Kramer is responsible for this trap.
Kerry is then kidnapped and placed in a trap. She has to retrieve a key from the acid within a minute to deactivate a device attached to her chest. She gets the key in time, but her trap is set just like Troy’s, leading to her death when her ribcage is torn open.
Amanda Young kidnaps a surgeon, Dr. Lynn Denlon, and takes her to an abandoned meatpacking plant where John Kramer is bedridden due to cancer. Lynn is forced to keep John alive until another victim, Jeff, completes a series of tests. A collar around Lynn’s neck is connected to John’s heart monitor and will explode if he dies or she moves out of reach.
Jeff wakes up in a box inside the plant. His evidence is related to his obsession with avenging the death of his son in a car accident. He finds a woman, Danica, who witnessed the death of her son but refused to testify against the drunk driver. Jeff can choose to save her or let her die in a frozen trap. He finally tries to save her, but she freezes to death before he can free her.
In another test, Jeff faces Judge Halden, who presided over his son’s case. The judge is chained to a vat full of pig intestines. Jeff is able to save him by burning his son’s possessions in an incinerator. Jeff saves Halden by activating the incinerator.
In his final test, Jeff faces off against the drunk driver, Timothy Young, who is strapped to a device that twists his limbs and head. Jeff tries to save Timothy, but it’s too late and the contraption kills Timothy.
Meanwhile, Lynn decides to perform brain surgery on John to keep him alive. During surgery, John hallucinates and confesses his love for another woman, which upsets Amanda. Amanda also reveals that she does not believe in John’s philosophy and has manipulated previous games.
Amanda refuses to let go of Lynn’s neck and points a gun at her. Amanda shoots Lynn, not knowing that Lynn and Jeff are married. Jeff arrives and shoots Amanda, leading to her death. John had set up Lynn’s test to keep someone alive, and she was meant for Amanda, since she knew about his rigged games.
After Amanda’s death, Jeff points his gun at John but has no bullets left. John promises to call an ambulance for Lynn in exchange for a final test. Jeff decides to kill John and the room closes behind him. John plays a tape revealing that Jeff failed the test by killing him and that her daughter, Corbett, is kidnapped, with John being the only one who knows her whereabouts. Jeff has to play another game to save her and Lynn’s necklace detonates and kills her. Jeff is left alone in the sick room.
