![Most Wickets in Test Cricket](https://pagasa.edu.vn/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/List-of-players-with-the-most-hits-in-test-cricket.jpg)
Test cricket is the traditional form of the beloved sport and continues to attract fans to this day. A typical test match consists of two innings for each team and lasts up to five days. The test matches were slower and quite annoying for the vast majority of fans, especially the younger ones. However, it is the original way of playing cricket and retains the classic rules of the “gentleman’s game”.
The nature of the test game is very different from One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20. It is played with the red ball and prioritizes playing at a higher level than pure entertainment. You’ll never see slip-resistance in T20 games, but that’s essential in test matches as batting is the main focus of bowling.
Court and ground position also favor pitchers, and we see 8, 9, and ten strokes in single innings. Today, we will cover the list of players with the most hits in test cricket. Muthiah Muralidaran, Shane Warne and James Anderson are the top 3 hitters in test cricket.
