One of the world’s biggest sporting events, the FIFA World Cup, is taking place here. The championship kicked off in November and soccer fans around the world tuned in to watch their favorite teams and players compete.
The inaugural edition of the FIFA World Cup was held in 1930 and since then it has been held every four years, with the exception of 1942 and 1946 due to World War II. The latest and 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup is being held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022. It is the first FIFA World Cup to be held in the Arab world and has 32 countries participated to win the coveted championship.
