The team has not won a major ICC tournament since the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. However, there is a lot of young talent in the team and BCCI hopes that the home season will provide an opportunity for these players to showcase their skills. its ability.
The home season is also expected to be a big test for the new Indian coach, Rahul Dravid. Dravid was appointed head coach of the Indian team in November 2022. He has a wealth of competitive experience and is expected to help the Indian team regain its lost glory.
