What is Operation Har Ghar Tiranga?
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is an initiative to encourage people to hang the national flag at home on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day. The campaign is part of the Amrit Mahotsav program to show solidarity and pride for the country.

The Ministry of Culture has set a number of regulations for citizens to participate in Operation Har Ghar Tiranga. Check out all of them below.
- The flag must be undamaged and unblemished. No other flag may be flown with the Tricolor/National Flag or above it.
- Wreaths or any other object, including any symbol made up of it, may not be hung above the national flag.
- In any ceremony, festival or other event, tricolor is not allowed to be used to decorate the dining table or in any other way.
- The national flag must not touch the ground under any circumstances.
- No other flags are allowed on poles or poles of three colors.
- Any clothing worn below the belt will not feature the national (tricolor) flag of that country.

How to join Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign?
Any citizen can join the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by uploading a selfie with the National Flag. Residents can fly tricolor flags on rooftops between August 13 and 15 to participate in the campaign.
All the steps to upload a selfie are given below:
- Step 1: Visit Har Ghar Tiranga official website harghartiranga.com.
- Step 2: Click on the ‘Download selfie with flag’ option on the homepage.
- Step 3: Now enter all required information.
- Step 4: Upload your selfie with Tiranga.
- Step 5: Tap the “Submit” option once you’re done.
- Step 6: Now, visit the website again to see your photos.
NOTE: Don’t worry if you can’t see your photos on the website. According to the instructions, it will take several hours or a day for all the items to show up on the website.
How to download Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign certificate?
Don’t forget to get the certificate of participation from the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign website. Check out the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Har Ghar Tiranga . initiative
Step 2: Click the “Register” button.
Step 3: Enter all required information.
Step 4: Now click on the ‘Submit’ option.
Step 5: You will receive a verification code on the registered number.
Step 6: Use that code to verify on the website.
Step 7: Once the registration is complete, click the ‘Download Certificate’ button.
