The FIFA World Cup is the world’s largest sporting event. Every four years, top national football teams from across the globe compete in the tournament.

At the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the 32 participating teams are divided into 8 groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the 2022 FIFA World Cup Round of 16, which begins the knockout round, where each team plays each other once.
