Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was born on Ambedkar Jayanti. He was born on April 14, 1891 and is observed as Ambedkar Jayanti every year. He is famous as the founder of the Indian constitution. But this is not the only thing he contributed.

The proposal to make Dr. Ambedkar’s birthday as Equality Day was made in a meeting of Adi Dravidar and the Tribal Welfare Department. MK Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, announced the decision to celebrate Equality Day every year on April 13, 2022.
